Lamp is one of the 14 new cards added in Beta 7.6. Previous Versions can be found here.
Lamp is kinda like the all-class version of Bravery's Assault, giving a random monster of a cost of 3G or less when it dies. However, there are 2 differences.
- When the Lamp dies, the new monster will take it's place right away. You don't need to pay for it, but Magic and Future abilities won't work, just like with Igloo.
- There is a 0.5% chance Frisk can be summoned when Lamp dies.
This is a complete risk or reward card, so it's up to you if you want to use it.
Lamp can also be used in a similar fashion to Gift Bear's Gift, forcing the opponent to give up one hit to destroy it. However, it's more useful than Gift for its ability to summon monsters.
Since the 8.0.1 micro update, summons now act like placing them down, without activating magic. This can be used to buff cards easily by using this with Politics Bear and Nice Cream Guy.
